The camera requires mains power so you will need to run a cable to your nearest mains socket and use the 12v power adaptor supplied.

The tissue box surveillance system does not have the usual “hole with a camera looking through” setup but actually uses a standard board lens looking through the product casing, the casing works a bit like a two way mirror in that the lens can see through perfectly but you’d only actually see the lens itself by really scrutinising the tissue box from very close up – pretty unlikely being that it’s a tissue box!

It’s powered by a built in, rechargeable, 12v, long life battery which is capable of running for 2-3 days off a full charge.
